“Sinners” is the movie of the year, yet its debut was met with cynicism from the media. @godfreycomic believes that Hollywood still doesn’t see the humanity in black people, nor their ability to sell movies. 

Ben Stiller publicly defended Coogler’s horror classic against negative press. Godfrey saw Stiller’s statement as a testament to good people of every race, & “Sinners” success as evidence that black can sale. Which America should know, since so many things originated within the culture are popular world wide.
