Today’s 🤩YOUNG ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT🤩 is Annette White (senorita.blanca911)!!!

Annette graduated from Iowa State in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science (College of LAS) with Major in Biology and Minors in Spanish and Psychology!

She says, “My degree in Biology from Iowa State provided a solid foundation of knowledge to build upon as I earned my Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at another university. I currently work as a physician assistant in emergency medicine in Des Moines, IA. As an undergrad, I studied abroad in Spain, which really strengthened my Spanish language skills. In my work as a PA, I often use Spanish to communicate with patients about their health.”

Annette’s favorite homecoming memories are, “While I had lots of fun attending all the Homecoming events as an ISU student from watching lawn displays to eating delicious Food on Campus to cheering for the Cyclones at the football game, my favorite memories have been made at reunions with college friends on Homecoming weekends after graduation. My pledge class from Kappa Alpha Theta sorority held annual reunions for several years following our college graduation. Though we had spread out across the country for jobs after college, we made sure to be back in Ames for our weekend together. We went to the football game and also visited our chapter facility where we made wonderful memories together during college. There's no place like home!” ❤️💛
