## Caption

When Dr linc started implantology he thought infections around teeth would infect the implant.

🔍 He later learnt that there is no infection in the bone unless you have osteromyelitis. With excellent curetting and debridement, implants can be placed immediately after removing an infected tooth.

A case like this requires the lesion to be grafted and covered with a membrane.
