## Caption

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of President Emeritus Dr. James C. Votruba who served as our fourth and longest serving president. A visionary leader and a steadfast champion for our students, faculty and community, Dr. Votruba left an indelible mark on NKU.

Our thoughts are with Dr. Votruba’s family, friends and the countless lives he touched. We invite our community to share memories and reflections as we honor his legacy.
