Please join my family, jc7474, Lucca & myself, defeat DIPG and walk in the Superhero Sprint & 6k with us. Help us honor the amazing superheroes, the boys & girls who fought, and continue to fight childhood cancer. For those who don't know, DIPG stands for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. There's NO cure. Research is underfunded, and the survival rate is 0%. There's simply not enough research. Can you imagine the doctor telling you your child has a 0% chance to live? Let's change this. Walk with us! 
DIPG has stolen the lives of two children I know of in the Maryland area in the last year. Michael Mosier (who's mom started this race & her own foundation in honor of her son, who passed one year ago today) and Emma Hensel. Michael & Emma deserved to live. Every parent deserves to watch their children grow up. As moms, we go through the day to day with endless worries. I've come to notice, every stage comes with new anxieties. For most of us, they are just worries. To some, it's a real life nightmare they don't wake up from. Children's cancer needs as much fundraising as it can get. Event is on May 29th

Location- 7101 democracy Blvd Bethesda Md
