Track 2 from HEARTLAND 💿

This one’s already out (and yep… you know who it’s about 🤪) — but more than anything, it cracked open the sonic world of this album. It’s stripped down. It’s soft. It’s a return to something simpler.

I don’t think much about genre when I write, but for the first time I called this folk — because at its core, it’s voice, lyric, and story.

I wrote this with @iamhilaire and @ronensmusic — and Josh (who just became a dad 🍼) helped me find the sound that felt like home.
