The Greatest Athlete of All Time is… Native? 👀💥

Yup — from Executive Producers LeBron James and Maverick Carter comes 'Jim Thorpe: Lit By Lightning', a brilliant new documentary directed by Chris Eyre (Smoke Signals, Dark Winds). 🎬🏅

If you don’t already know, his name is Jim Thorpe, born Wa-Tho-Huk (“Bright Path”) of the Sac and Fox Nation in Oklahoma. He was also Potawatomi and Kickapoo on his mother’s side.

Thorpe was an Olympic gold medalist, a professional baseball and football player, and the first president of the NFL — a once-in-a-century athlete whose dominance still hasn’t been matched. 🏆💥

The documentary premieres Monday, July 7 on the @history channel, followed by a special screening at the Get Indigenous Film Festival during @santafeindianmarket on Thursday, August 14. 🍿🎥
