We’re back with our annual Super Bowl recipe collab 🤝 We seriously have too much fun filming (and eating) these recipes every year! Today we’re making Cheesesteak Sliders and ohhh my goodness are they delicious. We couldn’t stop eating them! They’re so easy to make and guaranteed to make you the star of your Super Bowl potluck. Enjoy!!! xo

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb shaved beef or thinly sliced steak
1 medium or 1/2 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cremini mushrooms, roughly chopped
2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
6 slices of provolone cheese
Kosher salt & pepper
1 package Hawaiian rolls, cut in half longways
Flakey sea salt to top

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add the steak once the pan is hot and sear for 1-2 minutes each side. It should be crispy on the outside and just cooked through on the inside. Remove the steak and set aside.
Add another tablespoon of oil then add the mushrooms. Stir occasionally for about 3 minutes then add another tablespoon of oil, onions, garlic and peppers. Season with 1/2 tsp kosher salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
Stir occasionally for about 5-7 minutes until the peppers and onions are soft. Add the steak back in and combine.
Place the Hawaiian rolls in a similar sized shallow baking dish. Remove the top layer of the Hawaiian rolls and add the steak mixture on top of the bottom half of the rolls then put the cheese on top. Place the top layer back on top, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with flakey salt. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and the top is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
