Hot Summer days are spent photo sorting, offloading to storage, fine-tuning the portfolio (I’m terrible at this) and keeping an eye out for what I want to do more/better/different/same next year. 
Photographers: what are you doing more/better/different/same next year? 
Parents and sports staff: what would you like to see more/better/different/same next year from your sports photographers? 
For me: 
More: more dynamic photos - like flying off the sidelines (would like to see faces though) and battles for possession in front of the net
Better: practice and improve tracking fast action with the 400. Also need to get my 120-300 serviced. Something isn’t right with it. Fingers crossed it’s a simple fix as it’s one of my favorites. 
Different: Add more sideline story pics and the moments between the moments. Learn double exposure and get more creative shots once the basics are handled 
Same: for my existing clients - continue to deliver results beyond what was promised. I never take for granted those who believed in me before I believed in myself. I appreciate YOU!!!
I love action sport photography - it’s my first love (well - in terms of career) and I hope to stay connected to it as long as physically possible. 
Summer is awesome but in addition to R&R, I’m spending it getting ready for what’s next!
