On June 25th, which would have been Rice’s 23rd birthday, Irving’s name was listed as a contributor on a GoFundMe created by Rice’s mother, #SamiraRice, on behalf of the Tamir Rice Foundation. ___________________________________
According to GoFundMe, the youth center in Rice’s hometown of Cleveland is set to be a space for the “enrichment of our children” through arts and education.
