At least six people have died and over 80,000 people have been evacuated in China's Guizhou Province after severe flooding hit the region.⁣

48,900 people have been evacuated from Rongjiang and 32,000 from Congjiang. After the highest-level flood control emergency response was activated in both counties.⁣

Soldiers and volunteers have been pictured helping with recovery efforts with restoration works, clearing debris and disease prevention.⁣
⁣
In Congjiang, crews from several other counties in Qiandongnan have joined in the local efforts to repair the damaged power systems in some low-lying areas.⁣
