I used to worry that people would find out how much of a gymnerd and sports girly pop I am because the only *serious* area of photography was weddings or studio family portraits, but ain’t nobody got time to worry about looking ~cringe~ anymore 🙃 we’ve got cool people doing cool things to photograph 📸

Part of my journey has been inspired by other women in sports media like karlykreative / ginniecolemanphotography / allisonchengmott / the collegegymnews_ team whose presence and authenticity has inspired (and still do!) me to say to myself, “those women are crushing it out there and dammit I love sports too and I’m gonna go out and take some hella good photos too!” 😤 

So here’s to not fearing the “cringe” (what even is that anyways?), women in sports, women in sports media, and women in general 🥂 See you soon, Tuscaloosa 🐘
