At 23, Fredrick is weaving together tradition and transformation in Kenya’s Maasai community, using art as a bridge between heritage and environmental action. His project centres Maasai culture—through beadwork, music, dance, and storytelling—as a powerful medium to address today’s most pressing environmental issues: climate change, water pollution, and the health of our oceans.

In a region where the natural world shapes both identity and survival, Fredrick is bringing communities together through workshops, clean-ups, performances, and conservation initiatives. By rooting climate awareness in cultural expression, he’s cultivating a generation of stewards who protect not just the land, but the stories that live within it.
