## Caption

Pat Summitt’s toughness wasn’t just on the court, it was in everything she did. In 1991, during a home visit with top recruit Michelle Marciniak, her water broke as she stepped off the plane. Most would have headed straight to the hospital, but not Pat. She insisted on flying back to Knoxville, even refusing an emergency landing in Virginia. Hours later she made it back to Knoxville just in time to welcome her son, Tyler Summitt. That’s the kind of determination and grit that defined her leadership. Listen to Michelle as she tells the story of this unique visit.
