## Caption

Man, I hated this first picture when we first took it. I was critical of how I looked because my perm was growing out, my mom took the photo right as I was opening my eyes and I felt that my arms looked fat at the time. I know so stupid and silly, but I’m just being honest.

I look back now on this photo and I absolutely love it. It shows the three of us, who we were and how we grew up with each other. Kerstin being silly and goofy, me trying to fake strangle her and trying to control her for the photo. Remy laughing and trying to grab my wrist/hand off of her throat, and my mom captured the perfect photo. The last photo is the ‘nice’ photo but this one captures who we are. 

I wrote a blog sharing some of my thoughts on my desire to reach out and help others. Kerstin was a big component of that. How I wish things were different but she taught me a lot and is a big reason for what I do.
