Today is the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, an uprising that sparked the LGBTQ+ rights movement in NYC, across the United States, and the world. Johnson played a pivotal role in this movement. 

Johnson believed in equality for all. Although she passed in 1992, her legacy, advocacy, and bravery lives on. 💐
