#SummerXMoody: This utjschool student is interning at nickelodeon this summer in sunny Los Angeles! Isabella Rivera-Molina, from Houston, TX, grew up with Nickelodeon and has always admired the brand for its creativity, humor, and heart-to-heart connection with audiences of all ages. Interning there was a must for her! 

“Even to this day, I often find myself referencing quotes or episodes from shows I grew up watching, such as SpongeBob, Victorious, Big Time Rush or iCarly.”

Bella is passionate about storytelling and media, and her journalism skills allow her to craft compelling press releases as a communications intern. “I understand how to write with both media professionals and target audiences in mind. When compiling press clips, I focus on showcasing impactful coverage that aligns with the brand’s messaging. These skills help me effectively communicate stories that deserve attention.”

The most interesting part of her internship is walking through the iconic Melrose gate, where anything can happen! And so far, her favorite memory is Orientation Day, when she went on a tour of the Paramount lot and its rich history. 

Bella loves living in Los Angeles this summer! She’s having fun exploring the city and watching new movies at the theater. “As someone who wants to work in the entertainment industry, this internship has allowed me to be a part of a team that shapes culture, sparks emotion, and connects people through powerful, creative work.” 

She just watched “Materialists” and can’t stop listening to “Princess of Power” by Marina! Enjoy the rest of your summer in LA, Bella! What new movies have you seen?
