T-Mobile's cellular Starlink service, T-Satellite, launches July 23. It uses SpaceX satellites to deliver SMS service to most newer phones – even if you're on Verizon or AT&T. No towers needed. 

I tested the beta version by driving to a remote, no-signal beach south of San Francisco.
