For the first time in the tournament's 148-year history, Wimbledon is not using line judges to make calls. An electronic calling system is instead in place across all the courts, a move welcomed by some for its greater level of accuracy compared to the human eye, and criticized by others for breaking with tradition and losing a sense of humanity.
