The Hamilton County Health Department has to look elsewhere for millions of dollars in funding after the federal government cut several of its grants earlier this year.

The Health Department – which tracks public health threats and offers low- and no-cost services to people in poverty – learned in March that the federal government was terminating a set of grants it had received.
