## Caption

Today, Trump signs his dangerous reconciliation bill, on the very day that celebrates “freedom and justice for all.” This bill will strip everyday people of their freedom to eat, receive healthcare, gain an education, and more.

But while some may celebrate this outcome, at Color Of Change we are choosing to uplift the stories of members who partnered with us to urge lawmakers to vote “no.” During our #COCLobbyDay, our members boldly and courageously shared their stories on Capitol Hill, including LaKeshia A.

17M people will lose healthcare access due to cuts to Medicaid from this bill. LaKeshia knows the benefit of this program, and now she provides mental health support to those in Baltimore who need it most. 

We need Medicaid. We need healthcare access. And we will continue to fight for our communities #UntilJusticeIsReal.
