You had me looking for the most authentic Italian food in the Treasure Valley — and I think I found it.

At @vincenzo_trattoria, every dish feels like it was made with love — because it was. Handmade pasta, bread, and sauces crafted daily, using time-honored techniques and simple, quality ingredients. 🍝🥖

Here’s everything we devoured (and you absolutely should too):

✨ Penne Zozzana — house-made Italian sausage, guanciale, eggs & pecorino in a spicy tomato sauce
✨ Fettucine al pesto e crema di burrata — pesto & burrata heaven, topped with toasted pine nuts (my personal favorite)
✨ Spaghetti Vongole — tender clams in a garlicky white wine sauce
✨ Spaghetti Carbonara — guanciale, eggs, pecorino, and black pepper — a true Italian classic
✨ Beet Salad — bright & fresh with goat cheese, pistachios & orange
✨ Arancini — crispy risotto balls in spicy marinara (like the elevated mozzarella sticks of your dreams)
✨ Wood-oven Margherita pizza — incredible crust thanks to their 72-hour fermented dough
✨ And yes, we finished with an olive oil citrus cake & cappuccino, because how could we not? (You GUYS. This CAKE) 

The owners, Natasha & Colton, left their careers to chase a shared dream: to bring authentic Italian food — and that warm, welcoming spirit — to Boise. Natasha trained under an Italian chef in the PNW, then worked with two James Beard–nominated chefs before bringing her skill & heart here. Together they’ve kept the soul of the original Vincenzo alive while adding their own creative touches, like nightly specials and over 60 Italian wines.
