#tbt to Kiz and Nogowski in #sgf. Just babies! Now I’m watching them both play in St. Louis on MLB.com. It is surreal watching the Cards play the Cards with recorded crowd noise and organ playing. This summer I’m working in a warehouse in Missouri instead of Katmai National Park in Alaska, and I haven’t been in a ballpark since March 11. That day a photographer told me March Madness wouldn’t include fans. The next day I decided not to go to Washington for a creative residency. It seemed like things kept changing by the minute back then. But watching the Cards in an empty stadium in July is bizarre. I miss seeing the guys playing live.
