A special warfare sailor was returned to his home by motorcade from Porterville after passing away during a military parachute training accident.

Noah Tobin was a Special Warfare Boat Operator 2nd Class.

His body was transported on Monday to his hometown of Escondido in San Diego County.

Special Warfare Boat Operators are highly trained sailors who specialize in small watercraft the Navy uses primarily to support Navy Seals, to include tactics like clandestine maritime insertions and extractions, as well as weapons support.

Noah was part of Special Boat Team 20, which is stationed in Virginia.

He was participating in a specialized military parachute training course.
