READ BELOW ⬇️ I use Elmer’s Rubber Cement Glue but not on all projects and here’s a few reasons why they say we Shouldn’t Use Glue on Balloons 🎈🚫

You might be tempted to use glue to attach decorations or add-ons to your balloons—but here’s why balloon artists recommend against it:

🧪 Chemical Reaction: Most glues contain solvents or ingredients that can weaken latex, causing balloons to pop or deflate much faster.

💥 Popping Risk: Even “safe” glue can add uneven pressure to the balloon’s surface, increasing the chance of unexpected bursts—especially in hot or humid conditions.

🌫️ Aesthetics: Glue can leave residue or cloudiness on the balloon, especially on clear or chrome finishes. Not the polished look we’re going for!

🕓 Shortened Lifespan: Balloons treated with glue often don’t last as long, meaning your beautiful creation might not make it through the event.

✅ Pro Tip: Use balloon-safe adhesives like balloon glue dots, low-temp glue guns, or mechanical attachments like 260s or double-sided tape designed for decor use.
