The BMW M4 Competition is the high-performance version of the M4 coupe and convertible, powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine.

The rear-wheel-drive model produces 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, while the all-wheel-drive xDrive version pushes output to 523 horsepower, cutting the 0–60 mph time to just 3.4 seconds.

It features an 8-speed automatic transmission, adaptive suspension, active differential, carbon-fiber roof, and high-performance brakes.

While it offers immense grip, precision, and speed, some enthusiasts feel it lacks the raw, analog feel of earlier M models. Nonetheless, it delivers an impressive blend of daily comfort and track-worthy capability.
