Anteaters! Meet Ritwik Kumar, a third-year microbiology and immunology student leading research in bacteriophage therapy as an alternative to traditional antibiotics. 

🔑 Key Contributions and Achievements:
Kumar is coordinating UC Irvine's first implementation of phage therapy, aiming to treat patients with chronic, antibiotic-resistant infections. 

🔹Early Research Endeavors: His fascination with bacteriophages began in high school, leading to a science fair project on isolating phages targeting E. coli.
