To continue our celebration of Women's History Month, we are highlighting four UC Irvine alumnae whose leadership is making a significant impact in Orange County and strengthening the communities they serve. These inspiring women are addressing issues such as homelessness and food insecurity. For them, it is a way to give back by dedicating time and energy and uplifting female students who may be inspired by their success. 🤘💙💛🚺✨

🔹 Jennifer Friend – CEO of Project Hope Alliance, she’s leading the charge to break the cycle of youth homelessness, providing education, mentorship, and housing stability to help children and families build brighter futures. As a first-generation UC Irvine graduate who once faced housing insecurity, she knows firsthand the power of opportunity. 🏡

🔹 Claudia Bonilla Keller – CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank, ensures that no family in Orange County goes hungry. Under her leadership, Second Harvest delivers millions of pounds of fresh, nutritious food to those in need, fighting food insecurity and advocating for sustainable solutions. 🍝🍲

🔹 Madelynn Hirneise – CEO of Families Forward, is dedicated to helping families find stable housing and financial independence. Through counseling, career coaching, and housing programs, her team provides more than shelter—they offer a fresh start for families on the brink of homelessness. 🪙

🔹 Kelsey Morgan – CEO of EverFree, works to end human trafficking by focusing on long-term recovery and economic empowerment for survivors. Her mission goes beyond intervention—she’s creating a future where survivors have the resources and support to rebuild their lives with dignity and freedom. ✊
