Hi Stranger is yours this Friday, July 11th🙏🏼 So thankful for the love on this one already, I have so many more stories where this came from and so many crazy ghostie things has happened since I posted this of course😂🫠🤪 

Here is the story from the original post: 
Two years ago I was laying in bed thinking of my friend that passed away when I got a notification from Instagram telling me to follow his account. 

If you thought the timing of that was ~strange~ enough, I clicked on the notification to see that Instagram knew he had passed because it says “remembering” next to his name. My first thought was, “Why would Instagram recommend me this account that has been inactive for over 5 years, when they also know the person passed away?”🫖☕️

I then clicked our messages to see only one DM he sent me several years ago. The message was a clip of an old animated video called Hi Stranger. It said, “Hi stranger, it’s been awhile, I’ve missed you.” 

The next day I was telling my friend, Christi, about the amazing sign I received from him. I then realized there had to be a longer version of the video he sent me online somewhere. Christi and I began to speak out loud to him about our lives, struggles, goals, confusion, etc. I then found the full version of the video on YouTube and the video answered every question we had and more. It was as if he was talking back to us in that moment. It matched his energy perfectly. It was amazing. 

Now here we are a few years later, I still relate to the message in the video and wanted to make a song to share the feeling it gave me. It’s funny how my loved ones still give me ideas like this and almost guide me in a way with what to share with my audience!
