“Hi, my name is Maddox Jackson, and I just completed my first year at UF! As an out-of-state student, knowing no one, I was extremely nervous about finding my place. Recruitment was an entirely new experience, and I entered with no expectations, but it was such a rewarding journey, and through it, I found my forever home. Every woman I met at Phi Mu was genuine and sincerely interested in getting to know me. Ali Berry made me feel instantly welcomed in a space that had once felt so unfamiliar. She helped me recognize my potential and has supported me unconditionally without a second thought. Finding out she was my big on reveal day was so special to me. I am forever grateful to Phi Mu for introducing me to Ali and providing me the opportunity to be close with so many inspiring individuals who have impacted my life in such meaningful ways. I can’t wait to meet the new Phi Class and my future little and watch them thrive in the incredible sisterhood Phi Mu has cultivated.“
