Happy World Otter Day!

Party with Kalee and Gus and learn a thing or two about these awesome, semi-aquatic mammals! 

River otters began to return to the Detroit River in 2022 after an absence of over 100 years! Otters are a keystone species, and their return indicates a positive trend in the health of the river ecosystem. This exciting sighting is something to celebrate and a great encouragement for us all to keep the waterways clean.
