BROWNIE COOKIES🍫🍪 easy recipe!! 

A mix between a fudgy brownie and a cookie✨ this recipe is super simple and perfect for beginner bakers :-)

✨Ingredients:
•4 ounces milk chocolate or 60-70% (depends on preference/whatever you have available)
•1/4 cup unsalted butter
•1 medium egg
•1/3 cup dark brown sugar
•1 cup all-purpose flour
•3 tbsp cocoa powder
•1 tsp baking soda
•1/4 tsp sea salt (+ more on top)

Preheat oven to 350° F. Chop chocolate into small pieces and melt butter over a Bain-Marie bath (a bowl placed over a saucepan with hot water) or in the microwave at 30-second increments. Add the chocolate to the melted butter and stir using a rubber spatula until the chocolate is melted and thoroughly combined with the butter. 

Using a mixer, combine the egg and sugar. Mix for 4-5 minutes to incorporate as much air as possible. While the wet ingredients are mixed, combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl using a whisk. Once the egg and sugar are done mixing, add the melted chocolate and stir by hand in a folding motion. Once combined, add the wet ingredients and stir again. Let this dough rest refrigerated for 20-30 minutes. 

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and divide the dough into 5-6 six cookies with the help of a scoop. Place them separately because they will expand in the oven. Sprinkle sea salt on top (optional) and bake for 10 minutes. Cool down and enjoy!!
