Earlier this week I went for MOHS surgery to remove Basel Cell Carcinoma - a type of skin cancer. There are approximately 3.6 million cases of this cancer in the US each year which accounts for about 80% of all skin cancers. Basel Cell Carcinoma can take up to 20 years to manifest. As many of you know, I am healthy, fit and always wear sunscreen — That DOES NOT stop cancer. In the past, I have also had 2 melanoma lesions removed.
