Winner of the June 29 Bashford Manor Stakes, ROMEO (Honor A. P.) sold for $1.7m to Libyan bloodstock agent Mahmud Mouni, from the Paramount Sales consignment, at the Fasig-Tipton July Horses of Racing Age Sale, held Tuesday, July 8 in Lexington, Kentucky.

The 2-year-old colt, bred in Maryland by John C. Davison, is 2-for-3 so far in his career, including a third-place finish in the June 5 Tremont Stakes at Saratoga.
