Hello Bruce and his family, since yesterday we lost contact with my husband. We called the Red Cross to tell us what happened to him. They told us that there will be a response within 24 hours. His friends who were with him told us that he was arrested in the American aid camp after spraying him with pepper spray. I hope he returns safely. I hope he stays alive. I can't live without him. He has three days going to American aid.

I hope they release him and that he is in good health. I hope he returns soon. I will tell you what is happening to me since yesterday. He lost contact with him and with a group that was with him. They told us that they do not know anything about him. Someone told us that when the place was bombed, Ahmed was separated from his group. They told us that he was arrested. That's what we don't know.

Today the Red Cross told us that Ahmed was transferred from the detention center of the American army to the investigation center of the Israeli army. They told us that if he has nothing to do with any of the resistance parties in Gaza, he will come out in two days or maybe tomorrow. This is what they know, thank God that he is fine and sound and he was not martyred.

I just hope he's fine. I'm very worried about the effects of torture on the bodies of those who come out of prison. I'm sad. I don't know what to do. My father-in-law told us that Ahmed was the pillar of the house because he brings us firewood and always tries to get food without him. We can't do anything. I hope he comes back soon.

We don't even have any food at home, flour, or any kind of food. For only two days, we eat pregnancy vitamins and nutritional supplements. This is what we haven't eaten for two days. Ahmed was always risking himself and going to American aid. If he couldn't get free food, he buys food from some people there at the American aid center and brings it home.
