📜 Almost a decade ago, I travelled to Balkh and for the first time I truly understood how ancient my culture, heritage and history really was, and how little is known about it. I fell in love with its soul. 

Driven by a passion to share Afghanistan’s rich culture and heritage, I began a series exploring its ancient provinces. My journey started with #Kabul on substack, and now I’m excited to share the latest chapter on #Balkh.
