I’m currently banned from the Olympic Training Center which means I’ve had zero access to Team USA’s push track.

That matters. A lot.

In bobsled, we don’t just start by pushing on ice. We use push tracks to build power, perfect timing, and reduce injury risk. But because I’ve been banned, I had to go from pushing hurdle carts straight to pushing on ice, a massive and unsafe leap in intensity. That kind of progression puts athletes at serious risk.

It gets worse: I still don’t have access to any sports med. No rehab support. No cold tub. No hot/cold recovery. I can’t even walk into the building. I’m dealing with a spinal injury a herniated disc, a bulge, and three tears in my back and I’m rehabbing it alone, with no support from the system that’s supposed to protect its athletes.

This all started after a medical appointment I was scheduled for in February was canceled by USOPC without warning. At the time, I didn’t even know what was going on in my spine.

This isn’t how we treat Olympians.
This isn’t how we protect athletes.
This can’t continue.

Athletes should never be restricted from accessing medical care or recovery tools as a form of punishment. Ever.

More details in the article linked in my bio.
