Gouryella is back! 🤩
In 1996, a record store encounter between ferrycorsten and tiesto sparked what would become one of trance music’s most iconic projects: Gouryella, which means “heaven” in the Warlpiri language 🤩
 
Though tiesto stepped away early on, Ferry carried the project solo. After years of silence, Ferry brought the alias back in 2015 with Anahera, a track that topped trance charts and was voted asotlive “Tune of the Year”🔥
 
Now, Ferry turns to Gouryella once more with Marama (Moon & Stars), a reimagining of officialrobertaflack’s - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. What started as a deep house idea, the track found its true form after a push from markusschulz. “This is your next Gouryella!” he said, and he was right 👀
 
The familiar vocals of saskialieatjam, evoke the spirit of System F’s - Out of the Blue and completes the return of the Gouryella alias ✨
💬 “Gouryella isn’t just a project,” Ferry says. “It’s a reflection on the universe, wonder, and the emotions that connect us all. It has to feel timeless.”
