If I’m honest.. I wasn’t looking forward to fisemontpellier 2025
I copped a lot of unnecessary shit on social media for taking a new role at usacycling and subsequently I’ve hated my channels because of that and, it takes a lot for me to hate something that’s an correspondence and picture book app on my phone. 🤷 
Yeah, at times I bit more than I care to admit. 
I apologize to my team if this was noticed as my celebration at times was muted. 
This wasn’t fair as I was so proud to lead the team out in France. 
Working with new individuals with their own personalities can be challenging and very rewarding. I’ve always coached from a different place and it’s one that builds the individual to be a team player and find the happiness in their riding. 
And, it works. 
The pride I have for my  former team in the UK was so rewarded in their incredible performances and I’m happy that they’re in great hands. 
My new team, well their cohesiveness, energy and willingness to try something new inspired me to better and block out the bullshit. 
Seeing marcus_christopher_bikes take his opportunity to deservingly ride to his maiden win was a testament to all his hard work and patience over the years. 
While there’s more work to be done, I feel confident that this is a good start for a team that was open to change and as we all know, change is hard and necessary. 
Thanks to the tireless work of my support staff brianfoxbmx thaismollet kerrybestwick what you bring to team is unprecedented and to all the team riders who battled the elements and shined bright on a very tricky fiseworld course, you were nothing short of amazing! 
It was a pleasure being around you last week, your smiles were contagious 😊 and thanks for listening. 
Onwards and upwards we go in our pursuit for greatness 🙏
