“I have had very good results working with people who are creative and who surprise,” television and film executive Josh Sapan says. “And so I learned to step away.” He credits his success in the industry, at least in part, to giving creative people the freedom to do what they do best. It’s a strategy that has led to global hits such as Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead.
