So this is NOT great. Some parts are.

I'm working on breath control for long vocals, as well as actually memorizing lines without having to have any reference. Getting closer to getting through this whole song with no weird breaths but this take was not it. That "no compass" kills my whole flow 🤷‍♂️

Mainly here I want to show how my iterative mind works. Eventually there will be a full tom velle version of this song. It won't just be a vocal cover.

But I work in parts. Partially because I don't have the skills mastered, but mainly because it's just more fun.

I get to learn what I'm interested in right NOW. I integrate things I love into the things I'm working on. It's just what I do.

But if you scroll back [ill pin it somewhere] i made the lyric video. I wanted to makedamnsure that I still HAD the video, as well as see how quickly I can modify and sync up, and then add custom flair for the ocassion/mood/howi'mfeelinginthemoment. 

Beyond the time to record one take and download it to my laptop, this took about an extra 30-45 minutes on top of my original lyric video, since all the 'technical' timing work was already done there.

I may not be the most organized person in the world, but I sure do prepare it all pretty damn well.

Anyone else do this? Lemme know, or give me a sub to see what elese I come up with.
