5 Quick Harvest Tips 🥕  🫑 Don’t jerk off your peppers from the plant. The branches are weak and fragile like Michael Scott’s ego after a roast. Use shears to cut them off and safe your plant.  🥔 STOP watering your potatoes after the tops die off. This will allow the outside skin to dry up and create a protective layer over the flesh inside. They’ll store better!  🫛 Harvest beans in the early morning when the pods are crisp. They snap faster and taste fresher!  🥕 Don’t yoink your carrots out of the ground. Instead gently twist and pull to release them. That way you don’t snap the root and leave your goodies in the ground.  🥦 Cut your broccoli head off 5 inches from the stem at a 45 degree angle to allow water to run off. Then leave your plant and harvest side shoots of broccoli all summer long!
