Palestine is for Palestinians. Plain and simple.

The people of Gaza did not live through horrific violence and genocide so some could peddle a fantasy of lush hotels and seaside resorts. President Trump will soon realize what Netanyahu refuses to accept: that might does not make right, and Palestinians will not be uprooted by greed. That won’t happen. 

New Democrats want a future where Palestinians and Israelis can live in peace. We demand an end to genocide, the investigation of all war crimes, and the start of real peace talks on the model of South Africa, Colombia, and Ireland. This is possible. 

Until that happens, we will continue to support a two-way arms embargo between Canada and Israel, and sanctions against all perpetrators of war crimes.
