With Tuesday’s nomination for her starring turn in CBS’ #Matlock, the Oscar-winning actress became the oldest woman ever nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, at 77. 

The record was previously held by #AngelaLansbury, who was nominated in 1996 for “Murder, She Wrote” at age 70.
