Have you visited Patapsco Valley State Park in Howard County to #StepIntoHistory? 

This summer's Step Into History frame features a E. Sachse & Co. print from our H. Furlong Baldwin Library's print collections that depicts the site of the Avalon Nail and Iron Works. The plant, located along the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad ten miles from Baltimore City, was located west of Relay on the Baltimore County side of the Patapsco River.
