Say g’day to Tonka and Matchy 🐎 - the newest recruits in training at our Mounted Branch!

Tonka is our first-ever pinto (patches) horse and already turning heads. Matchy was named after the motorcycle brand Matchless - a nod to his previous owner, a bike enthusiast.

Over the next 6 to 12 months, they’ll train for patrols in traffic, parks, the beach, the city and at events, plus crowd control, ceremonial duties and bush search work.

We can’t wait to see them out and about! ♥
