Amanda Kolarchick and her 19-year-old son Joseph Cole Whitten are charged with arson, burglary, and theft of property.

Police said they were spotted walking by the public defender's office the morning of the fire carrying stolen items from the office. Police said there's also camera footage showing the two walking to and from the public defender's office.

Poe said the two have been homeless for years and suffer from addictions. He said they will get medical treatment before they go to trial.
