I’ve always been a bit of a perfectionist, and it’s something I’m constantly trying to let go of. Decorating helps with that—it’s less about getting everything just right and more about feeling things out. I had some leftover branches from a shoot and figured, why not throw something together for the mantle? It wasn’t planned or overthought, just a little experiment to see what I could create with what I had. There’s something satisfying about making something beautiful out of what’s already there—a reminder that sometimes the best things come from the moments when you stop trying so hard.
