Michael DiPietro is the Bruins current third-string goaltender and his name was mentioned recently as an impossible player to be sent down to Providence by Jeff Marek.

“It’s tough to make an NHL trade right now. I would wonder about next year and the Boston Bruins and waivers…I don’t think the Bruins are getting DiPietro down. If I’m the Edmonton Oilers and I see (DiPietro) on waivers, I’m putting in a claim.”
