ONE OF THE MOST SHORT, COMPACT, DIRECT, and POWERFUL swings I’ve seen in awhile☝🏽 In my opinion this is the definition of “staying behind the baseball”. Keep a close eye out for Sophomore at the University of Miami and MY GUYY🤩 cuvetdaniel (aka “THE KARATE KID”🥋). Cuvet is a 6’4”/235lbs 3B who hit .351 with 24 pumps and 1.165 OPS as a freshman in the ACC last year😳 He runs a 6.8/60 yd dash, throws 95mph across the diamond, and has exit velocities north of 115mph🫨. Some of his accolades include being a Freshman All American, 2nd Team All ACC, and making the USA Collegiate National Team🇺🇸 Here doing some bat testing for a Gamechanger Bat Lab event at the home of the Miami Marlins… take a close look at how after his stride foot touches down, his head doesn’t drift forward an inch… allowing him to stay back and deliver a crazy amount of energy into the barrel😮‍💨. I had the pleasure to work with him one on one off the field and study his practice progressions and routine and I promise you can use all the catch phrases of great hitters to describe this guy.
